I seem to remember that Hilton were forced to get rid of their ridiculous Waldorf=Astoria branding, because no-one took any notice of it – it looked like a typo. I don’t see why a publication should have to follow the branding – it’s editorial, not advertorial.

What’s your point in all this Vintage? I actually think there’s an interesting discussion to be had here on the merits (or otherwise) of branding…
