Over the past couple of weeks I have had to claim refunds from Air Lingus, British Airways and Lufthansa, all due to the bad weather and cancelled flights. The 6 – 8 week wait has not occured and all monies have been refunded, including amounts for seat reservations and extra checked bags.
Orbitz however, has decided to keep their $10.09 admininstration/ booking fee. They are the only ones who have not refunnded in full.
Bearing in mind the smooth flow of refunds from most companies, I was wondering whether anyone else has had similar issues and whether this was within Orbitz’s rights.
