Same experience, on Friday I had to be in London but my flight was cancelled, I travelled by train and on Saturday morning I was there. As I was having my check in at Marriott Grosvenor Square they informed me that they didn’t charge me the Friday night.

Now I am on another Marriott in London and for some reason they thought I am platinum instead of Gold. Great upgrade and some platinum gifts. I am lucky, I know..
