I came across this piece of news in Travel Weekly of yesterday.
“Odyssey Airlines to start London-New York business class service”.
So it looks like BA is going to get a rival to New York (and other destinations).
However, the question is if the aircraft to be used, the Bombardier CS100, can take off with from LCY with enough fuel to make the transatlantic crossing non-stop. This is comparison with BA´s need to stop at Shannon on the outbound trip to top up the tanks of its A318s.
