A suggestion: do give up the day job and become a BBC producer! Your ideas show far more understanding of what an airport is all about than has been evidenced by much of the coverage so far – which has been glib, facile and superficial in the extreme – such as the almost content free coverage of the BA turnaround the night before last.
As AOTG has observed, most of the stuff that had any real content was not live but pre-recorded: the paint job of the A320, some of the ATC activity and the behind-the-scenes pilot training on the A380 simulator.
And then there are the presenters… I anticipate that Dan Snow, on tonight’s programme, will at least make a fist of understanding the rudiments of being an air traffic controller – which is probably why he was given the task rather than the other three air heads.
