Saw bits of it and agree with most comments on here. Thought presenter was weak and could have had better questions to ask the guests. But it was enjoyable and for those who know little about airports/airlines it would have been interesting. It would have been good if they had showed a graphic for example of how airplanes stack and then switch runway direct for example and how they have to hold planes for the old direction and then have begin to stack them for the new landing direction (couple with those taking off)?
For the sake of BA it would be good for them to land there A380 during the show – but then they might have a big “landing” planned for 4th July. It is only a short hop over from Paris so can’t see that really being an issue, but I guess they already have something planned for the 4th (maybe a 787 and an A380 landing on parallel runways at the same time if they can get permission??).
