If you look in the (aforementioned)IAG presentation on page 52 it states the following……
Cornerstone hubs – London Heathrow
-Terminal 5c opening June 2011
-T5 co-location, improving connections and service
-T5 / T3 infrastructure (baggage tunnel / train) to improve connections with oneworld partners.
“Co-location” obviously means Iberia transfering to T5 – Vueling as well?
Let us hope that the reference to “train” here means the T5 passenger transit is going to be extended to T3.
I have read somewhere (but cannot find it again) that the transfer pods from T5 to the car parks are almost ready for use (maybe June)
There are about 8 or 9 airlines still in the “wrong” terminal at Heathrow. The next to move on 25th May is Air India from T3 to T4
“Aegean and United/Continental” are each still flying from 2 different terminals.
I suppose that not everything will be sorted out until Heathrow East (T1/T2) is finished.
