continental club is right. Both my kids are silver card holders but only because I hold the household account. I personally would prefer that I recieved their tier points as at the end of the day I pay the fare. As a family of 4 we often have over 3000 tier points a year between us yet none of us have a gold card and BA will not allow me to alter the kids annual year to match that of my wife and I. The silver card is useless to the kids individually and even if travelling alone would not, I understand get them into the lounge.
We benefit from gaining miles and pooling them but I do think the Executive Club could allow a bit more flexibility for groups/household accounts that are clearly families with young kids.
