Aberdeen International Airport
Aberdeen International Airport’s Express Drop-off is charged at £4 to stay for up to 10 minutes. It is free for electric vehicles for the first 10 minutes, though you have to pre-register for free access for the first 10 minutes here.
If you stay longer than 10 minutes, they you pay “a premium charge on exit”

Belfast City Airport
Belfast City Airport is the only airport in the UK to still offer a free stay period in the pick up / drop off area. Provided you enter the pick up / drop off area and exit again within 10 minutes (600 seconds), you don’t get charged. If you stay longer, the prices are:

At Belfast International the drop-off charge is £1 for 10 minutes, with payment made using the coin bin/card machine on exit. Cars must not be left unattended at any time. For stays over 10 minutes the following penalty charges will apply.

Birmingham International Airport
Birmingham has two options. The first is Premium Set Down which is £3 for the first 15 minutes. The fees are as follows:
Once you have dropped off passengers, then you can simply pay for parking at one of the pay stations and then drive towards the exit barrier with your ticket.
If you have pre-booked the drop off space, then you just need to drive towards the exit barrier and insert your ticket in order to leave the car park.
It also has a drop off zone, which is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the terminal and is free for up to 20 minutes, though of course if you are dropping someone off and helping with their bags, you have to keep moving to get there and back in time. The drop off zone has a ‘no return within one hour ‘policy in place.
You pay for the parking at one of the pay stations and then drive towards the exit barrier with your ticket. If you have pre-booked the drop off space, then you just need to drive towards the exit barrier and insert your ticket in order to leave the car park.
Bristol Airport
Bristol’s Drop and Go Car Park costs £5 for 10 minutes. Prices after that are as follows:

Edinburgh International Airport
Edinburgh Airport charges £4 for up to 10 minutes (increasing to £5 from July 17, 2023). The charged drop-off and pick-up areas are located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park outside the terminal building.

Glasgow Airport
Glasgow Airport’s Pick up and Drop-off areas are located directly outside the main terminal building in car park 2. It is charged at £4 to stay for up to 10 minutes, The airport says that drivers wishing to use parking facilities for more than 10 minutes are advised to use the short stay car park.
Passengers with electric vehicles will be able to access the pick-up and drop-off facility directly opposite the terminal free of charge for the first 10 minutes. Electric vehicle users must pre-register for free access for the first 10 minutes here.

Leeds Bradford
Leeds Bradford charges £5 for up to 10 minutes for its drop-off and pick up zone. The car park operates a ticketless system – a camera records vehicle entry and exit and an appropriate tariff is requested when you leave. Payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card. Please note that no change is given, and receipts are available on request at exit.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport
The charge for dropping off is £4 for up to 10 minutes.
The airport does have other options, though.
The ‘Express Drop Off and Pick Up Car Park’ (to give it its full name) faces the terminal, and that has a minimum £4 charge

London City Airport
The forecourt next to the terminal building has no charge, but vehicles are not allowed to wait on the forecourt and cars must not be left unattended at any time. The airport has Automatic Number Plate Recognition (APNR) cameras in use at the airport and fines will be issued.
London Gatwick Airport
Gatwick has a minimum £5 charge now applies to use the designated drop off zone in both North and South Terminals, and it is £1 for each additional minute up to 20 minutes up to a maximum charge of £25 and the maximum length of stay 30 minutes.
Payment must be made by midnight the day after the visit to drop off passengers at the forecourt.
Non-payment will be enforced through Parking Charge Notices at a charge of £100, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.
London Heathrow Airport
The charge at Heathrow is £5 to drop-off. Note that you cannot pick up passengers from the drop-off zones and the area is patrolled to ensure this doesn’t happen (you are supposed to use the car parks for pick-ups).
The terminal drop-off charge is operated via Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). There are no barriers, and you incur a charge once you enter the drop-off. Note that the charge cannot be paid at an airport ticket machine or in the terminal drop-off zones – it is only payable online, via an automated telephone service or via autopay.
London Luton Airport
Luton’s drop-off zone is £5 for 10 minutes and £1 per minute thereafter. Pay by card (no card fees). It is currently unable to accept cash.
Electric Vehicles pay £1 for a drop-off or pick-up of up to 30 minutes but only in the dedicated electric vehicle spaces on level 2 of the Terminal Car Park 1 and take their parking ticket to the Priority Parking Office on the same floor to have their ticket validated. This discount applies to 100% electric vehicles only, and not to hybrids.
Stays beyond 30 minutes are not discounted, and the discount will not be applied to the first 30 minutes of a stay longer than this time. There is also a maximum of eight hours charging in the actual charging bays.
London Stansted Airport
Stansted’s drop-off is called ‘Express Set Down’ and is & for up to 15 minutes, and £25 for over 15 minutes.
For pick-up the recommendation is to use the Stansted Airport Short Stay car parks (Orange zone) or the free option in our Stansted Airport Mid Stay car park.
There is a £30 charge for re-entering within 1 hour of first entering the car park and payment is via card or exact change only. Residents living within a 10 mile radius of the airport are charged £1 for up to 10 minutes if they apply online.
Stansted employs new technology against tailgating drop-off fee dodgers
Manchester Airport
Drop-off areas are located directly outside the terminal building at departures level. The charge is £5 for five minutes and £6 for 10 minutes and is payable at the exit barrier.
An overstay charge of £25.00 will apply after 10 minutes.
There is a free drop off area, located in JetParks 1, from where passengers can take a short shuttle bus ride to the terminals. The bus operates 24/7.
Southampton
Priority pick-up and drop-off is £4 for 20 minutes. You pick up a ticket upon entry and then use this ticket again to exit. Pay at either the pay stations in the car park or by driving directly to the exit barriers and using the integrated cash coin drop or by credit or debit card using contactless or chip and pin.
The exit barrier payment machines will accept 10p, 20p, 50p, and £1 and £2 coins. These machines will not offer change.
There’s an £80.00 enforcement charge for drivers who stop their vehicles to drop off and pick up passengers outside of the Short Stay and Long Stay car parks. This charge is reduced to £50.00 if paid within 14 days. This is strictly enforced with cameras.
