A. Lange & Söhne Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon

A reinterpretation of the 2016 Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon, this watch retains the combination of flyback chronograph and perpetual calendar with jumping displays. Here, the brand presents a model in white gold for the first time — featuring a pink gold dial. The watch is powered by L952.2 manufacture calibre movement, has a power reserve of up to 50 hours and is available with a strap in hand-stitched alligator leather in dark brown.

Notice the left subsidiary dial displaying the day of the week and the day/night indicator, and the precisely jumping minute counter, the months, and the leap-year indicator on the right sub-dial. The model is limited to 100 watches. alange-soehne.com

Baume & Mercier Clifton Baumatic Perpetual Calendar

Baume & Mercier’s creation for SIHH 2019 is this sophisticated piece that combines the BM13 version of the Baumatic movement along with a perpetual calendar, featuring three sub dials.

Baume & Mercier Clifton Baumatic Perpetual Calendar has a 42mm 18-carat red gold case, and is protected by a domed antiglare sapphire crystal. The moon phase is displayed at the 6’oclock hour, and also accounts for leap years making it a complex masterpiece.

Cartier Santos de Cartier Skeleton Noctambule

With the calibre 9612 MC and skeletonise bridges in the shape of Roman numerals, the new Santos de Cartier illuminates under dim lighting conditions. The bridges are coated with Super-LumiNova pigments which, while invisible during the daytime, reproduce and radiate the stored light once night falls. Greubel Forsey Art Piece Edition Historique

Greubel Forsey pays tribute to art and architecture with its new innovation and a variation on the theme of the Double Tourbillon 30° Edition Historique. The eye-catching tourbillon is set against a royal blue background, with the flat black polished bridge and hand-bevelled and open-worked cage pillars. The small seconds on this beautiful 44mm dial is positioned between 10 and 11 o’clock. The 72 hour power-reserve is indicated by large Arabic numerals and a blued steel hand and above at 2 o’clock displays the offset hours/minutes sub-dial. Hermès Arceau l’Heure de la Lune

The dial of Arceau l’Heure de la Lune consists of two moons — one indicating the earth’s satellite from southern hemisphere and other seen from the northern hemisphere.  The two mother-of-pearl moons add a classy touch to this chronometre. One of the moons features a subtle Pegasus artwork. The watch is powered by Hermès H1837 movement, and has two varying dials, and is limited to just 100 pieces. hermes.com

Hublot Classic fusion tourbillon orlinski

In partnership with visual artist Richard Orlinski, Hublot has launched three versions of the Fusion Tourbillon timepiece. The timepeces are offered in Sapphire, King Gold and Black Magic variants, and are limited to 30 pieces each. The dial of the timepieces feature either matte gold, matte black and matte anthracite grey. The Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski comes with a HUB6021 manufacture manual-winding movement with a power reserve of 115 hours. hublot.com

HYT H20 TIME IS FLUID

The HYT watch is an innovative timepiece that accepts, visualises and celebrates the flow of time. Panerai Submersible Chrono – Guillaume Néry edition

Panerai has launched the Submersible Chrono – Guillaume Néry edition celebrating the French free-diving champion worldwide — Guillaume Néry.

This diver’s watch has an automatic calibre P.9100, a 3-day power reserve, submersible up to 300 m and can also calculate the duration of a dive. The dial is extremely legible under all lighting conditions, even in darkness due to a combination of white and blue luminescent indices against a grey background. The sub-dial at 9 o’clock displays running seconds and elapsed chronograph hours are counted at 3 o’clock. The back-case is engraved with the signature of the champion and an image featuring his record- breaking dive of depth of 126 meters reached in only one breath.
