This year, the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé has made its debut in India. This is in commemoration of the AMG brand’s 50 years of worldwide presence.

AMG was formed in 1967, and in the course of half a century, it has strengthened its position as a high-preforming sports car brand. It has succeeded in numerous motorsports, as well as “the development of unique road-going vehicles”. It was only in 1990 that AMG began collaboration with Mercedes-Benz.

The GLC 43 4MATIC displays the elegance of a coupé, dynamics of a sports car and versatility of the Mercedes-Benz GLC. It is powered by an AMG-enhanced three-litre V6 bi-turbo engine producing 270kw (367hp), and a torque of 520nm, which results in a sprint from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds. Its trademark NANOSLIDE coats the cylinder liners, which is used in the Formula 1 engines of Mercedes-AMG Petronas for smooth performance. mercedes-amg.com
