Blancpain – Chronograph Grande Date
This ladies’ watch has a dainty mother-of-pearl face, a self-winding heart and a generous adornment of gems. On the dial two waves of 17 variously sized diamonds shoot out star-like from the centre. The case is 38.6mm in diameter, using 18-karat red gold and set with 40 diamonds in total. It is water resistant to 30 metres, and this model is fitted with a white ostrich leather strap.
Zenith – Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane
Following the success of the Christophe Colomb model, the 45mm Hurricane edition is equipped with high oscillating frequency for time sequencing, and a gravity control system. It also has a fusee-chain mechanism that allows for precise and constant timekeeping. The detrimental effects of gravity are minimised by Zenith’s design, which ensures that the regulating organ and the escapement are permanently kept in a horizontal position in the gyroscopic tourbillion carriage placed
at 6 o’clock on the watch’s dial. This is a 25-piece limited edition.
Rado D – Star Ceramic Chronograph
Part of a new mini-collection by Rado, this model has a leather strap and plasma-treated case for the more dapper and sophisticated gentleman. It is scratch-resistant, has anti-reflective coating on both sides and is made out of material with hypoallergenic properties. It is also water resistant to 100 metres, has a 60-hour power reserve and two chronograph counters.
Jaquet Droz – Petite Heure Minute 35mm
This stainless-steel woman’s watch has a mother-of-pearl dial that shines in a different hue of blue with the movement of your wrist. The dial is separated into ray-like sections and adorned with eight stars – the signature of the brand – scattered across the face. The bracelet’s form, meanwhile, is artfully asymmetrical. The different-sized links blend into a single line with a double-diamond decoration. The watch has a self-winding mechanical movement, a power reserve of 68 hours and a bezel set with 160 diamonds.
Breguet – Type XXII 3880 in Rose Gold
The case of this emblematic model has been enriched with 18-karat rose gold. The 44mm timepiece houses a Breguet chronograph movement with silicon escapement and flat balance spring with a frequency that’s been raised to 10 Hertz (or 72,000 vibrations per hour), giving it heightened precision and the ability to power a hand that completes a rotation in 30 seconds. The dial also includes a second time-zone indicator and a date calendar. The watch is water resistant to 100 metres.
Longines – Conquest Classic Chronograph
This elegant watch is part of Longines’ sporty Conquest Classic collection. The masculine Chronograph edition’s dial has a diameter of 41mm, and is made up of a combination of steel and rose gold, within which is a mechanical column wheel calibre. The black watch face has one Arabic numeral and 11 other indicators. As well as displaying hours and minutes, this timepiece has second, 30-minute and 12-hour counters in three separate areas, and also a date display. The screw-down case back is fitted with sapphire glass and the watch is water resistant to
50 metres.
Hermès – Arceau Petite Lune
In celebration of its 35th anniversary, the iconic Arceau model designed by Henri d’Origny has been adorned with a feature displaying the moon phases. This particular version has a smaller diameter at 38mm, and also has a pointer-type date indicator. The timepiece is complemented by an alligator strap available in three colours: indigo, grey or black. The face is adorned with 21 jewels and anti-glare sapphire crystals, and the watch is available in two versions: white or black mother-of-pearl.
