So here we round-up some of the new properties which have been unveiled this month. We’ll aim to keep this updated throughout the month, and then start a new feature for June, and so on.

NH Feira de Santana
This 210-room hotel is situated in the second largest city in Brazil’s state of Bahia, and features a rooftop swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, and SEEN restaurant by Portuguese-French restaurateur Olivier da Costa.
Villa Giara
This ten-room boutique guesthouse in Italy’s Piedmont region has opened following a five-year farmhouse restoration project, with features including a pool, yoga deck and terrace for aperitivos and antipasti.
Wayfinder Waikiki
This 228-room property features a saltwater lagoon pool, tropical speakeasy and pool bar Lost + Found, as well as B-Side lobby coffee bar and an outpost of the Redfish Poke Bar concept.
Holiday Inn Dandenong
Located in Melbourne’s southeastern suburb of Dandenong, this 124-room hotel features the brand’s Open Lobby concept, as well as a fitness centre, Dandelion Lounge + Eatery, and 154 sqm of meeting and events space.
Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel
This 52-room property is housed within a restored 13th-century cliffside Capuchin convent, with features including spa, swimming pool, and Dei Cappucinni – “a convent kitchen concept in which fresh seasonal ingredients grown in the convent garden will star in a-la-carte, monk-inspired dishes and sensory tasting menus”.
Hilton Skanes Monastir Beach Resort
This beachfront Tunisian hotel is located six miles from downtown Monastir and eight miles from Sousse, and features seven restaurants, four outdoor swimming pools, and spa with hammam, sauna, jet showers and 15 treatment rooms.
Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel
This 163-room property in the Lapa district of Porto features a.typical Restaurant and Bar, as well as a the fifth floor Sky Bar and a rooftop heated outdoor swimming pool.
Hotel Genevieve
This 122-room property is located in the NuLu neighbourhood of Louisville, and features Parisian-inspired ground-floor restaurant Rosette’s, as well as rooftop lounge, and a “Pop-Art inspired mini market”.
Hotel Indigo Minneapolis Downtown
This 218-room boutique hotel is housed within the city’s former 1960s Northstar Center – a building which has previously traded as the Minneapolis Crowne Plaza Hotel. Features include Star Bar & Bistro by local restaurateur Kim Bartmann, as well as a fitness centre and marketplace.
ibis Styles Kaunas Centre
Situated on the banks of the Neman River, this 82-room hotel offers a rooftop restaurant and bar, and features decor inspired by basketball – a nod to the nearby Zalgiris Arena, home to the city’s BC Zalgiris team.
Les Maisons de Léa, a member of Radisson Individuals
Consisting of a former salt storehouse dating back to the 16th century and five adjacent houses, this boutique hotel faces the historic church of Sainte Catherine in Honfleur in in France’s Normandy region. Features include Tourbillon restaurant as well as Univers Spa by Thalgo.
Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa
An existing property has undergone extensive refurbishment to become the first Grand Hyatt hotel in Spain, with features including a new 1,700 sqm wellness centre, 11 dining destinations and three golf courses.
DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole
Not strictly speaking a new hotel, but the former Hilton Brighton Metropole has been rebranded following a a £26 million refurbishment project. The 321-room seafront property first opened in 1890 and features an indoor swimming pool and 1890 At The Met Restaurant.
Domes Noruz Kassandra
This adults-only ‘beach club with rooms’ is situated in the northern Greek region of Halkidiki, overlooking the Agean Sea.
Facilities include Topos Beach Bar Restaurant, all day buffet venue Gustatio, and Raw Bar – a cocktail and champagne bar serving raw finger foods including cured cod ceviche and scallops tartare.
Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam
The brand’s first property in the Netherlands is housed within a 16th century property overlooking Amstel Canal, with interiors “inspired by the Dutch Golden Age and the unique atmosphere of Amsterdam”.
Facilities include 81 rooms including seven suites, as well as Omber restaurant and bar offering a Mediterranean-Dutch fusion menu.
Birch Selsdon
Formerly the Selsdon Park Hotel, this renovated 181-room hotel is housed within a 19th century manor in the 200-acre Selsdon Park in south London.
Features include British brasserie Vervain and the Meadow bar, as well as a fitness centre and co-working space, and a lido and yoga deck is set to open this summer.
The Municipal Liverpool - MGallery
Opening on May 10 in time for the city’s hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest, this this 179-room hotel has been developed within the city’s Grade II-listed Municipal Building on Dale Street.
Features include the Palm Court bar and lounge, The Botanic Tea Room, and a wellness area including a swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, fitness centre, Laconicum, salon and spa.
The Western Hotel & Spa
This 16-room boutique hotel is housed within a restored 19th century wood-frame building in Ouray, Colorado.
Features include a wood-fired signature restaurant and saloon, an onsite general store and a Nordic spa with hot and cold saline plunge pools.
The Sebel Wellington Lower Hutt
Accor has opened a new-build hotel under The Sebel brand in New Zealand’s capital, located on Wellington’s High Street and overlooking the Hutt River.
Features include 60 apartments with kitchen facilities and a dining area, as well as Grazie Italian restaurant, and fitness and business centres.
JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa
This new-build 162-room beachfront resort has views of the Gulf of Mexico, and features a rooftop pool deck, spa, Latitude 28 restaurant for seasonal Mediterranean cuisine, Eskape beachfront bar and grill, and rooftop restaurant and bar The Deep End.
