Here are holiday stops to consider while visiting this part of the world.

MUSCAT

Some call it “soul-satisfying”, some say it’s “laid-back”. The capital of Oman — Muscat — also known as the “walled city” preserves the richness of antiquity within its royal palaces. If you are looking for a spontaneous yet spiritually rejuvenating experience, pack up your bags and head to Muscat for the weekend. Discover abundant relics amidst architectural buildings that exhibit beautiful dome structures and arabesque windows.

Apart from being culturally opulent, Muscat has a few recreational beaches too. A definite pitstop on your travel agenda should be Qurum Beach that lies in the heart of Muscat. It is a pleasant place to sip on a drink with a refreshing view of the horizon.

Another place to explore, the Royal Opera House, is a significant part of Muscat’s culture. Enjoy critically acclaimed live performances at this colossal venue for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

You may also choose to pay respects at the holy pilgrimage of Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, located at an iconic spot in the city. The Persian carpets and chandeliers inside the shrine are crafted with elaborate skill and to date maintain thier original shine.
