The investment that Aeroflot has made in recent years is appreciated by customers who are impressed with its modern fleet and state-of-the-art technology.

Aircraft reliability and safety is of prime importance. Aeroflot has one of the youngest fleets of any major airline, with over 220 short-, medium- and long-haul aircraft with an average age of just over four years. The majority of the aircraft are Airbus A320, Airbus A330 and modern Sukhoi SuperJet-100s.

For the business and leisure traveller, the youth of the fleet translates into the most recent on-board equipment, the latest design of customer cabins and seats, and immaculate cabin cleanliness, as underlined by online reviews. When combined with modern technology and a focus on the customer, the results have led to unrivalled safety, efficiency and comfort.

So what can you expect on-board? In contrast to the cost-cutting trends among Aeroflot’s competitors, the airline has maintained true premium-class standards on short- and medium-haul intra-European flights, with wide seats, spacious aisles, fixed partitions, 2+2 seating. Wifi service is being expanded to include the medium-haul aircraft in the short term.

On long-haul, Aeroflot’s premium seating is on the B777 and A330 fleet. The business-class cabin is configured with lie-flat seats with a 60-62 inch pitch, and all long-haul aircraft are wifi-enabled.

In premium economy the Comfort Class-branded option is offered on Boeing B777s equipped with ergonomic seats, USB-ports, sockets and Thales multimedia system integrated.

The service also includes excellent catering, professional and stylish cabin crew, and an extensive choice of IFE contents and inflight amenities. The award-winning inflight service is infused with authentic Russian hospitality and top international standards.

Aeroflot employs Michelin-starred chefs to create innovative and healthy dishes. There is a 17-strong selection of special meals (dietary, vegetarian, ethnic, religious options), with a restaurant-style service including an à la carte menu, signature cocktails, and real china, glassware and tablecloth.

Flying with Aeroflot gives travellers the chance to sample authentic Russian cuisine, as well as international cuisine, including classic Asian dishes, and it has even been named among the world’s top airlines for vegetarians by Proveg.

Aeroflot’s cabin crew’s expertise has been boosted with international training to create a comfortable friendly atmosphere for all nationalities. In addition, the airline has garnered numerous awards and citations for its attractive and stylish cabin crew.

In 2016 Aeroflot was given a Four Star Airline rating by Skytrax for the high quality of its service as well as becoming Skytrax’s Best Airline in Eastern Europe for the sixth time in 2017. Aeroflot has been recognised as the number one major airline in Europe and Best Business Class of any international airline by users of TripAdvisor.
