Just secured a really good fare on BA, GOT-LAX return, for my winter escape Nov-Dec, 3,334 SEK return (260 GBP), this was including 1,300 SEK (100 GBP) discount on using up 15,000 Avios for 2 pax, this fare is cheaper than GOT-FRA return for example.

Now, we are 2 travellers, where do you recommend to select seats on the 380, selected seats upstairs window and isle for now.

The economy seats on the BA A380 are not comfortable. Also, there is a large box in every foot space (the IFE) so you can hardly move your legs. Good luck!

To answer your question instead of dishearten you, I’d advise staying upstairs with window & aisle. A bit more private feeling up there.

That’s a brilliant fare you’ve managed to get too.

I just priced it up for 21/12 to 1/1 for my family of 4 and it came in at 16,000 SEK flying AA on LAX legs. Unbelievable price for Christmas and new year in California.
