Outdoor London No.5: Dukes St James’s Cognac and Cigar Garden

18 Jun 2010 by BusinessTraveller
Make the most of Summer in the City with our picks for Central London drinking and dining.... The upmarket Dukes hotel off St James’s Place has opened a refurbished outdoor area dedicated to cigar and cognac afficionados, a nod to the hotel’s history of offering vintage cognacs at Dukes Bar. The secluded garden is a cosy space for up to 20 seated guests, with decking, wicker furniture, lantern lighting, and a wooden handmade brandy cabinet displaying the hotel’s range of cognacs, including house offering the Martell Cordon Bleu. Cigars are supplied by Hunters and Frankau, and range from £16-£36 each, with a 50ml measure of Martell Cordon Bleu costing £12. The year-round garden is open from 8pm daily, with heating for the winter season, and is also open for afternoon teas during the day.
