Business Traveller Middle East has teamed up with The Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre to give away a one-night stay at the luxury hotel, including a Dhs200 F&B credit and complimentary breakfast for two.

The Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, which opened last year, offers an antidote to the sometimes chaotic, high-stakes, all-in vibe that is typical for a global business district like the DIFC in Dubai.

Located between the 18th-55th floor of the Burj Daman Complex, it boasts 201 guest rooms, 46 suites and 28 residential apartments.

With the Covid-19 pandemic meaning that overseas travel has been put on hold for most, a staycation is now the preferred option for the majority of residents within the UAE.

Until September 30, the hotel is offering a special room rate of Dhs750 per night. Included is complimentary breakfast for two as well as a food and beverage credit of Dhs200 per night.

These can be availed of at the poolside St. Trop located on the 18th floor of the hotel, the Peacock Alley lounge or even the Wall Street-styled Bull & Bear restaurant (the prawn cocktail and the Scottish scallops served with salmon caviar that we sampled on our last visit to the restaurant is still fresh in our memory).

To make the most of your stay, guests have a guaranteed early check-in of 10am and late check-out of 6pm the next day.

And there’s plenty to do too at the property. The stay includes complimentary pool access to retreat from the blistering weather.

A spa on the same level as the swimming pool offers bespoke treatments for each guest across four suites. The Grooming Suite is perfect for manicures and pedicures; the Vichy Suite features a heated hammam table for therapeutic water treatments; the Flotation Suite offers salt inhalation as a means of detoxification; and the Couple Suite allows two people to undergo a massage while they lay on heated treatment tables that can be filled with either sand crystals or fitted with a water mattress.

For those who want to skip the spa and pound a treadmill instead, the Technogym-equipped fitness centre is also located nearby.

Guests who would rather shop or explore other landmarks near the hotel, Waldorf offers a complimentary transfer service to Dubai Mall and La Mer.
