Art’otel has provided an update on its forthcoming London Hoxton property, as part of expansion plans which will see three hotels open in European capital cities by early next year.
Business Traveller first reported on the London Hoxton development way back in 2008, and in 2020 PPHE Hotel Group confirmed it had secured funding for the long-awaited hotel.
In its latest update PPHE said that the 27-floor property was scheduled to open in early 2024, with features including a 357 rooms, a destination restaurant and bar, art gallery, events space, auditorium and “extensive leisure facilities” including an indoor swimming pool.
It has also been confirmed that British street artist D*Face will be the Signature Artist for art’otel London Hoxton.

Meanwhile the brand is also set to open a 110-room hotel within the Jewish Liturgical Municipality building in Zagreb this autumn, featuring a rooftop bar and indoor pool.
This will be followed a 99-room property in Rome in early 2024, complete with destination restaurant and bar.
The news follows the opening of art’otel London Battersea Power Station late last year, joining existing properties in Amsterdam, Berlin and Cologne.
Commenting on the news Boris Ivesha, president and chief executive officer, PPHE Hotel Group, said:
“Expanding our presence for art’otel in these key European capitals has been an exciting and ambitious project. We’re focused on bringing our guests memorable experiences with one-of-a-kind hotels in the world’s best and most vibrant cities.”
Last year Radisson Hotel Group announced it had expanded its partnership with PPHE Hotel Group to develop a global portfolio of art’otels.
The agreement will also see the growth of Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio of brands across Europe, including the signing of the first Radisson Collection hotel on the Adriatic Coast.
