United Airlines has announced plans for significant expansion at Denver International, with new services, additional gates, and new and revamped lounges.
Already the largest carrier at the airport, United will add four routes to the US destinations of Asheville, Dayton, Greensboro and Lexington later this year, as well flights to Montego Bay in Jamaica and San Juan in Puerto Rico.
This summer the airline will also double the number of early morning departures and late evening arrivals, with a total of over 60,000 daily seats departing Denver, including daily nonstop flights to Heathrow.
The expansion will coincide with the opening of a new United Club lounge on the airport’s A Concourse, as well as the unveiling of the first of two revamped lounges on the B Concourse.
The renovated and expanded facility will become the largest United Club in the carrier’s network when it reopens, surpassing the airline’s current largest lounge at Newark airport.

The lounges will be followed by the addition of 12 new gates on the A and B Concourses by the middle of 2024, bringing United’s gate count to 90 at the airport.
The expansion is part of the airline’s near $1 billion investment at Denver International, including a new check-in lobby, and a grab-and-go United Club Fly lounge concept which opened late last year.
