Kuwaiti flag carrier Kuwait Airways will launch a complimentary chauffeur service for its first and business class passengers at its homebase.

The service will be available to all eligible arriving and departing passengers at its Terminal 4 hub at Kuwait Airport.

Separately, Kuwait Airways has confirmed the addition of four-weekly flights between Kuwait and Malaga in Spain.

The new route will launch on June 13 and operate on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Kuwait Airways will deploy one of its new Airbus A330-800 neo aircraft on the new Malaga route.

The airline’s A330-800 aircraft seat 32 passengers in business class across a 1-2-1 configuration and 203 in economy class configured 2-4-2.

The A330-800 is extremely rare.

Kuwait Airways is one of just three global operators alongside Uganda Airlines and Air Greenland.

The airline is growing quickly. It has 27 additional aircraft on order. These will join the existing 34 units in its current fleet, including 10 Boeing 777-300ERs which feature ‘Royal Class’, the airline’s most premium first class product.

Kuwait Airways is expanding as it attempts to better compete with its Gulf rivals.

However, it is also important to note that, unlike Emirates, Etihad, Qatar and Oman Air, Kuwait Airways is a ‘dry’ airline.
