The Business Traveller Middle East Awards – now in its 22nd year – is, by quite a margin, one of the industry’s most respected awards.
But don’t take our word for it. Trust instead the several thousand who voted for this year’s finalists. Now, it’s time to reveal that coveted shortlist of finalists.

As you will notice, we’ve divided the awards across three main sectors: airlines, airports and hotels.
The airlines category has 11 awards that range from ‘Airline with the Best Cabin Crew’ and ‘Airline with the Best Business Class’ to ‘Best European Airline Serving the Middle East’ and ‘Best Airline Worldwide’.
The airport category celebrates terminals with stunning offerings, lounges and duty-free shopping facilities. It includes one of the most fiercely contested awards within that category which is the ‘Best Airport in the World’.
The hotels category meanwhile is our most extensive one and rewards individual hotels within the region. Apart from the winners, there is also a ‘Highly Commended’ award for each of the individual hotels that got the second-highest number of votes.
In addition to individual hotels, this category also rewards hospitality brands across accolades such as ‘Best Lifestyle Hotel Brand in the Middle East’ and ‘Best Serviced Apartments Brand in the Middle East’. All eyes will be trained on the ‘Best Hotel Brand Worldwide’ which is one of the biggest awards of the night.
The shortlist showcases five finalists across each category, arranged alphabetically. The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on the evening of May 1 at the Palazzo Versace Dubai. Details as to how you can book yourself a seat at the awards – or even an entire table – can be found below.
