Marriott International will finally unveil the first Manchester property under its extended stay Residence Inn brand in May.
Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly is housed within a refurbished serviced apartments property on Laystall Street, and had originally been due to open in late 2020.
Facilities include 155 studios and one-bedroom apartments – all equipped with kitchens – as well as a coffee shop, bar, meeting spaces, an outdoor seating area, self-service laundry and a fitness centre.

The property is situated around half a mile from Piccadilly Station, close to the city’s regenerated Northern Quarter and Ancoats district.
Bookings are now open for stays from May 1, with prices starting from £135 per night.
There are currently six other Residence Inn properties in the UK – three in central London, one each in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, and the Residence Inn Slough which opened as part of a dual-branded development in 2021.
