Leeds Bradford airport will complete work on its two lounges in the coming weeks, with the spaces having been redesigned and expanded.

The 1432 Runway Club is set to reopen in early April, having been relocated to offer more seating and space, as well as better runway views.

The new space will feature an “eco-scandi vibe”, and will offer a new made to order menu and longer opening hours than previously (0400 to 2000).

Meanwhile the Yorkshire Lounge has been expanded in space by 50 per cent, and offers a buffet breakfast menu from 0400, followed by afternoon light bites from 1130.

Food and drink is complimentary in both lounges, although in the Yorkshire Lounge guests have the option “to upgrade to more premium drinks such as prosecco”.

To celebrate the reopenings Leeds Bradford is offering fast track security to all guests booking lounge access between March 23 and April 6.

Customers signing up the airport’s mailing list will also currently be entered into the chance to win “a luxury lounge experience for up to four people, with fast track included”.

Entry to the Yorkshire Lounge costs from £35 for adults and £22 for children aged three to eleven years, while entry to the 1432 Runway Club costs from £45 (children under the age of 12 are not allowed to use this lounge).

In January Leeds Bradford said it would offer a “record-breaking” number of destinations throughout its 2023/24 schedule, with new additions including Bergen in Norway, Porto in Portugal and Perpignan in France.
