TAP Air Portugal has announced a new partnership with Portuguese cosmetic brand Benamôr.
The Lisbon-based firm will provide products for TAP’s business class amenity kits and airport lounges.
Under the agreement all liquid soaps, creams and beauty products offered to TAP’s business class customers both on the ground and in the air will be provided by Benamôr.
The Portuguese brand is approaching its 100th anniversary, having been founded in Lisbon in 1925.
The firm highlights that its products are 99 per cent natural, ethically-made, dermatologically tested and cruelty-free.
Commenting on the news Silvia Mosquera, TAP’s chief commercial and revenue officer, said:
“TAP and Benamôr are the perfect partnership to promote the best of Portuguese beauty, and we are sure our customers will be excited to experience both this historic Portuguese brand and the finest luxury products Lisbon has to offer.”
Earlier this month TAP Air Portugal launched a new inflight menu for business class passengers on long-haul flights.
The collaboration with The Art of Tasting Portugal sees 12 local chefs preparing menus highlighting seasonal ingredients and specialties from different Portuguese regions.

The carrier also recently unveiled its refurbished business class lounge at Lisbon airport.
The 320-capacity facility now features furnishings in the carrier’s signature green and brown colour scheme, as well as more plants and a redesigned refreshment and dining area.
