Saint Lucia has launched a new immigration form for air travellers, designed to speed up processing times for arriving passengers.

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority is “strongly encouraging” travellers to complete the electronic entry form online prior to landing to avoid delays on arrival, though visitors can also complete and submit a paper version of the form when they arrive.

The form is available up to 72 hours before travel, with only one form required per family/group. Once submitted, travellers will receive a receipt by email which they will need to present to customs on arrival.

To complete the form, travellers will need to provide flight information, passport details for all members of the group, a photo for travel documents (such as the passport photo page), and a valid email address.

The UK’s Foreign Office (FCDO) has updated its advice for visiting the island, stating:

“[The online form] replaces the written form and should speed up the arrival process. Anyone who does not travel with proof of the online form will be able to complete a paper form on arrival until mid-April, as they are being phased out.”
