Marriott International has completed the renovation of its Cardiff Marriott Hotel, following the refurbishment of the property’s rooms and public spaces.
Situated on Mill Lane within walking distance of the city’s Cardiff Central rail station, Principality Stadium and Cardiff International Arena, the hotel features 205 rooms refurbished in “neutral colours complemented by pops of yellow and blue, inspired by the Castle’s spectacular baroque interiors”.
There is also a new M Club executive lounge and a Browns Brasserie & Bar with outdoor terrace, while the property’s lobby, fitness centre and meeting spaces have also been refurbished.
The renovation works follow the recent restructuring of the Marriott Hotels and Resorts brand in the UK, with 23 existing properties being reflagged under the Delta by Marriott brand, including Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel, Liverpool Marriott Hotel City Centre, Edinburgh Marriott Hotel and Heathrow/Windsor Marriott Hotel.
Wales’ Swansea Marriott Hotel was also among those to be rebranded, and is now known as Delta Hotels Swansea.
