The Mastercard lounge at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International airport has reopened following refurbishment works.
The 160 sqm space features interiors inspired by the Danube River, and can accommodate up to 56 guests. Facilities include a buffet dining area with hot and cold dishes, as well as a bar and quiet zone.
The lounge is located on the mezzanine level of the Skycourt hall in the airport’s Terminal 2, and is operated by Plaza Premium Group.
The facility is open daily from 0500 to 2100, for internationally-issued World Elite and Black Mastercard customers, as well as Hungary-issued World Elite, Platinum, Business Platinum and Gold Mastercard holders.
Commenting on the news Endre Eölyüs, country manager of Hungary and Slovenia at Mastercard, said:
“We are really excited to start a new chapter of the renewed Mastercard Premium Lounge. Our main goal hasn’t changed: we want to offer our premium cardholders an experience they can’t find anywhere else.
“The renewal is not limited to the space, but also to the catering, refreshments, and other services available to Mastercard Premium cardholders. We believe we have found the best partner in Plaza Premium Group and we’re looking forward to exploring new ways to take our services to the next level.”
