ITA Airways and Accor have announced a new partnership allowing points to be converted in either direction across the group’s loyalty schemes.

From today (January 26) 4,000 Volare points can be converted into 1,000 ALL Reward points, while in the other direction 4,000 ALL Reward points will get members 5,000 Volare points.

ITA unveiled its revenue-based Volare scheme in March last year, and says that it now has over 800,000 members.

Commenting on the news Ian Di Tullio, chief commercial officer Accor Europe, said:

“We are proud to partner with ITA Airways, the leading airline company in Italy. Italy is among the most beloved and visited countries on the planet; it is thus one of our priority markets for experience, partnership, and hotel development.

“This partnership with Volare, ITA Airways’ loyalty programme illustrates the importance this country holds for Accor and its members. The introduction of this dual reward scheme will enable both ALL – Accor Live Limitless members and VOLARE members to benefit from a richer value proposition coupled with unrivalled services.

“Partnership with ALL will also give access to Volare members to an eco-system with lots of point accumulation and redemption opportunities. Our ambition is to offer a wide variety of rewards, services, and experiences.”

In September last year Accor and Qatar Airways strengthened the partnership between their respective Privilege Club ALL loyalty programmes, allowing members to earn both Avios and ALL Reward points when linking their accounts.
