Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG), has confirmed plans to launch its Azure Beach and Attiko hospitality venues in Vietnam.

Scheduled to open in Q3 2023, it is the fourth Azure Beach location worldwide after operational venues in Dubai, Beirut and an upcoming one in Doha.

Attiko meanwhile will open its third global venue in Vietnam after the unveiling of it at W Dubai – Mina Seyahi in Dubai in November 2022, and in Bodrum in June last year.

Azure Beach in Vietnam is located along the South China Sea and will serve exotic beverages and Asian fusion cuisine. The roof terrace at Attiko will feature a lounge and supper club space with Pan Asian flavours and views across the Vietnamese coastline.

Situated at the iconic Bai Tien in Vega City coastal development within Nha Trang, the complex will be the country’s first integrated resort of its kind. Constructed by Vietnamese investment firm KDI Holdings, a further collection of 168 ocean view shophouses, luxury villas and five-star hotels will be featured within the complex.

The Vega City Nha Trang project is set to become one of the most iconic holiday destinations in Vietnam.”

Beyond Dubai, SHG aims to open 15 additional international venues, and expand to 14 countries by the end of 2023.

Dubai’s Sunset Hospitality Group secures US$35 million funding from Goldman Sachs

In November last year, SHG secured US$35 million in funding from Goldman Sachs Asset Management to help support its global expansion plans. The projects that the funding will be used for include the opening in summer 2023 of its flagship Mett Hotel and Beach Resort in Marbella. SHG said at the time of receiving the funding that was also reportedly actively exploring additional opportunities within the Mediterranean, UK, USA and Asia.
