The Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace has reopened, more than two years after the property was closed due to devastating explosions in the city’s port area.

Like many other buildings in the Lebanese capital the hotel was damaged by the blast, but reopened for reservations from December 30, 2022.

Owned by the UAE headquartered Al Habtoor Group, the Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace has 85 rooms including 20 suites, a variety of food and beverage selections at the Summer Place and hotel’s lobby lounge Tea Garden.

It is located in the heart of Sin El Fil, and is only a 15-minute drive from Beirut International airport.

The hotel has nine function rooms for 2,800 guests, including six multi-purpose meetings rooms located on the same floor, a 24-hour business center and a dedicated Meetings Manager.

The hotel also provides guests access to personalised services and facilities including complimentary wifi, a fitness center and an outdoor pool.

Al Habtoor Group chairman Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor took to Twitter to announce the reopening of the property adding that the move was to “support the Lebanese and provide job opportunities to Lebanese youth, while advancing the country’s development.”

Within the region, Hilton recently opened Conrad Rabat Arzana, making it the first property under its Conrad Hotels and Resorts brand to open in Morocco.
