Hospitality group Ennismore has announced plans for two hotels on the Spanish island of Ibiza.

Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza are both set to open in June 2023, overlooking the island’s Cala Llonga bay.

The Mondrian property will operate seasonally between June and mid-October, and will offer 154 rooms, three dining venues including a Japanese restaurant, and two swimming pools with ocean views.

Meanwhile the larger Hyde hotel will feature 401 rooms, a swimming pool, and five F&B concepts including an ocean-to-table restaurant and a chiringuito-style beach club. Again the property will operate seasonally between June and mid-October.

Accor formed a joint venture with UK-based developer Ennismore in 2021, creating what it called “the world’s fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality company”.

The Hyde brand originated as an LA nightclub in 2005 and has plans to debut in London within the redeveloped 15 Old Bailey building, while Mondrian currently counts six properties in its portfolio including the Mondrian Shoreditch.

Recent Ennismore announcements include the signing of four hotels in New Zealand under the group’s Jo and Joe, Hyde and Tribe brands.
