IHG Hotels and Resorts has opened a new property under its Holiday Inn Express brand in Washington DC.
Holiday Inn Express Washington, DC Downtown is located in the Mt. Vernon Triangle neighbourhood, within walking distance of attractions including the US Capitol, the National Mall and Washington Monument.
Operating under the management of Urgo Hotels and Resorts, the property features 247 rooms with a microwave, mini-fridge, 50-inch TV, coffee and tea facilities and free wifi. All guests also get a complimentary ‘Express Start’ breakfast.
Facilities include a 24-hour fitness facility, and a meeting room on the top floor with views of the Capitol Building.
