Accor has added just its second M Gallery property in the US, with Hotel Andra Seattle joining the boutique brand.

The 123-room hotel is situated in Seattle’s central business district, and has recently completed a $12 million property-wide renovation programme.

The hotel’s interiors have been inspired by Nordic design, and the property features two restaurants – Greek-influenced Lola and Italian eatery Assaggio Ristorante – as well as Hot Stove Society, a cooking school led by Seattle-based chef and restaurateur Tom Douglas.

The M Gallery brand currently counts around 100 properties in its portfolio, the vast majority of which are located in Europe (64 hotels) and Asia (28).

Hotel Andra Seattle – M Gallery joins the existing Berkeley Park M Gallery Hotel Collection in Miami beach, as well as a Canadian property in Vancouver.

Recent additions to the brand worldwide include Too Hotel in Paris, Hotel Naru Seoul, and The Porter House Hotel in Sydney.

Commenting on the news Mark Purcell, SVP, development, Accor North and Central America, said:

“Building Accor’s presence in the North American market continues to be a top priority for the Group.

“This newest addition to the M Gallery Hotel Collection further strengthens the solid foundation we’ve already established across the region with Accor’s robust collection of brands, including MGallery, Fairmont and Sofitel, and demand for our luxury and premium offerings, especially our collection brands, is stronger than ever.

We are thrilled to add another M Gallery address in the US, especially in such a high-demand city like Seattle. We are excited for the continued growth in this region, and what is yet to come.”
