Hilton is set to open the latest London property under its budget Hampton brand next year.

The 107-room Hampton by Hilton London Old Street is scheduled to open on Westland Place in summer 2023, around five minutes’ walk from Old Street Underground and rail station, with links to the Northern Line and National Rail services to Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City.

Facilities will include an Italian restaurant, free wifi and hot breakfast, a fitness centre and conference meeting room. Hilton has also highlighted the new-build hotel’s eco credentials, with the building designed to make use of harvested rainwater.

Hilton currently operates around 2,900 Hampton properties in 33 countries and territories, having reached the milestone of 2,500 hotels in 2019.

The group lists ten Hampton properties in the greater London area, including Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo, Hampton by Hilton London Park Royal, Hampton by Hilton London Docklands, Hampton by Hilton London Ealing, Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick Airport and Hampton by Hilton London Luton Airport.

Earlier this year the Hampton opened a 202-room property in Bath, and the brand’s largest European hotel is set to open in Vienna in 2024.
