The hotel is now set to open on June 1, 2023.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced plans to open its second hotel under its Pan Pacific brand in Singapore.

The 347-key Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore, located at 10 Claymore Road, will feature open-air architecture and lush greenery throughout.

Designed by WOHA Architects, the 23-storey hotel will be made up of four open-air towering terraces which cut out from the main structure in a Jenga-like design. The entire hotel will feature more than 7,300 sqm of foliage that covers more than 200 per cent of the hotel’s land area, and each of the 347 guest rooms and suites will include views of either the terrace greenery or the Singapore cityscape.

Upon arrival guests will be greeted by a verdant Forest terrace, with a 120m-tall green column spanning the first three storeys. This terrace envelops the lobby space with foliage and cascading water features, and will include check-in areas and ‘intimate seating spaces’ for afternoon tea. The hotel’s restaurant, meanwhile, will be located on the second and third floors of this terrace.

Floors 5-10 will be home to the Beach terrace and feature an outdoor pool and pool bar across the fifth floor and tropical foliage “that mimics a seaside getaway”. A mirrored ceiling stretching across the entire terrace will reflect the pool and create the sensation of a blue sky. The property will also house ten Beach Club Lofts with a private outdoor balcony offering direct access to the pool.

Levels 11 to 16, meanwhile, will feature the Garden terrace with an outdoor lawn extending beneath the guest rooms. The terrace will be lined with private cabanas and will also include the hotel’s destination bar, a dedicated check-in lobby for Club guests and an indoor-outdoor Club Lounge.

The highest floors of the hotel, levels 18 to 23, will feature the fittingly-named Cloud terrace and include a pillarless ballroom on the 18th floor with capacity for 420 guests.

The hotel is BCA Green Mark Platinum-certified for its sustainability features which include renewable solar panel technology, in-room filtered water system and a bio-digester system that transforms food waste into cleaning water.

We have reviewed several of the group’s properties over the years, including the Pan Pacific London which opened in 2021 and the Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay in Singapore.

The hotel group recently announced plans to double its serviced suites portfolio to meet the growing demand for extended-stay properties.
