
A new gaming lounge has opened at Dubai International airport, offering customers the chance to play titles including Fortnite, League of Legends, Gran Turismo 7, Crash Bandicoot and “top football games”.
The 24-hour Game Space lounge is located within the Family Zone near gate B25 at the airport’s Terminal 3, and features 40 stations with either PCs or consoles, as well as 50-inch screens and side-by-side seating for solo or multi-player gaming.
Hardware for 20 of the 40 stations has been provided by Asus sub-brand Republic of Gamers (ROG), with facilities including a PC, high-resolution headset and ergonomic ROG gaming chair.

All travellers can access the lounge for a fee, and food and drink can also be purchased (not included in the lounge entry fee).
Eligible Priority Pass members can can use their lounge visit entitlement for a one-hour stay, and the airport also said that “Other card membership programmes will soon be available at the space”.
Commenting on the news Errol McGlothan, co-director at Game Space, said:

“We know that gaming is incredibly popular in the region and Game Space will allow travellers to change their waiting time at the airport into their gaming time.”
