Flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, has said that it will launch flights to six additional destinations.
These include Cagliari, Corfu, Krabi, Milan and Pattaya from 2023 as well as the resumption of flights to Hofuf in Saudi Arabia from November 24, 2022. Emirates will codeshare on these routes.
The schedule of the new services which will operate from Terminal 2 and 3 at Dubai International (DXB) are as below:
Since the start of this year, flydubai has launched flights to over 20 destinations, including Pisa and Catania in Italy, Osh in Kyrgyzstan as well as Samarkand and Namangan in Uzbekistan.
The addition of these six routes will see the flydubai network expand to 113 destinations in 53 countries.

Jeyhun Efendi, senior vice president, Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, added: “We are excited to announce the launch of year-round flights to Milan in Italy and seasonal summer flights to Corfu in Greece and Cagliari in Italy. We are pleased to see our network in Europe grow and to serve five destinations in Italy.”
In Ocotber, flydubai struck an agreement with Czech Republic-based airline Smartwings to wet lease four Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The agreement will be in effect from November 17, 2022 until January 16, 2023. The aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) agreement with Smartwings will see four-leased aircraft support flydubai’s fleet of 68 Boeing 737 aircraft. Flydubai currently operates a single-fleet type of Boeing 737 aircraft that includes 32 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800, 33 Boeing 737 MAX 8 and three Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.
