Accor has added a new M Gallery property in Paris’ 13th arrondissement.
The 139-room Too Hotel occupies floors 17-24 of one of the Jean Nouvel-designed Tours Duo skyscrapers, and is the brainchild of hotelier Laurent Taïeb.
Business Traveller reported on the plans for an addition of an M Gallery property in the towers in 2020.
The hotel design by Philippe Starck combines natural materials such as wicker and wood with more modern features such as chrome.
Beds within the rooms and suites have been angled towards the windows to make the most of the city views, with floor-to-ceiling mirrors playing with perspective.
The colour palette draws on the sky, with “cloud-like cream” and “hints of sunset orange”, and bathrooms include wide sinks, baths and rain fall showers.

The Too Restaurant, led by chef Benjamin Six, is set within a gold-ceilinged glass cube above the hotel and features powder pink walls and murals by Pierre Monestier.
Too Tac Tac Skybar, meanwhile, is one of the city’s highest rooftop bars and features a 150 sqm panoramic terrace. The bar is open daily until 2am and will include live music and DJ sets.
Meanwhile the hotel’s spa, known as Too Chill, is open exclusively to hotel guests and includes three treatment rooms, a fully glass-walled gym, a custom-made cedar wood sauna and a ten-seater outdoor jacuzzi on the 17th floor terrace overlooking the Seine.

Laurent Taïeb commented:
“Too Hotel offers a heavenly getaway, a feeling of being so high up that the whole of Paris is at your feet. That view is totally awe-inspiring, you feel as though you stepped into a magical adventure.”
The hotelier is also behind Hotel Madame Reve, which opened in Paris last year.
Accor’s M Gallery collection has more than 100 properties in over 30 countries around the world.
