
Hotel and private members’ brand The Ned is set to unveil its first property in the Middle East next month.
The Ned Doha will open in time for the Fifa World Cup in Qatar, which runs from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
The 90-room hotel and members’ club features seven restaurants including Cecconi’s and Electric Diner, as well as a health club and spa, fitness centre and a 30-metre outdoor pool.

The Ned Doha is housed within a building originally designed by Lebanese architect William Sednaoui, which was formerly home to the former Ministry of the Interior.
The property will also feature a collection of more than 150 works of art curated by the co-founders of Mathqaf, a platform for art and culture from West Asia and North Africa.
The expansion of The Ned portfolio follows the opening of The Ned Nomad in in New York’s Manhattan earlier this year.

A second New York property is also under development in the city’s Financial District within the former American Stock Exchange Building, with an opening date scheduled for 2024.
