Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will launch direct services to Türkiye’s capital of Ankara early next year.

Starting January 19, 2023, it will commence thrice weekly flights to Ankara every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Tickets for these flights are already available and the ultra low-cost carrier is offering one-way fares starting from Dhs149 on this route.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will therefore have flights to several destinations around the region including Alexandria (Egypt), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Amman (Jordan),
Ankara (Turkey), Aqaba (Jordan), Athens (Greece), Baku (Azerbaijan), Belgrade (Serbia), Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait City (Kuwait), Kutaisi (Georgia), Manama (Bahrain), Male (Maldives), Muscat (Oman), Nur Sultan (Kazakhstan), Salalah (Oman), Santorini (Greece), Sarajevo (Bosnia), Sohag (Egypt), Tel-Aviv (Israel), Tirana (Albania) and Yerevan (Armenia), among others.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi also said that it has added a new Airbus A321neo aircraft to its fleet. The Ankara route will be operated by this fifth new aircraft.

In related developments, Wizz Air recently begun operating flights between Saudi Arabia and Italy. The Dammam-Rome service is one of 23 new routes that Wizz Air has confirmed that it will operate into the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
