London’s latest boutique hotel is set to open close to Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations next month.
Sun Street Hotel (named after the street on which it is situated) forms part of the mixed used One Crown Place development on the borders of Shoreditch and the City of London.
The hotel is housed within a restored Georgian terrace building, and features “eclectic interiors that evoke timeless sophistication and acknowledge the old and new of the two contrasting areas of the capital”.
Facilities include 41 rooms with king-size beds, Oxford pillows, Illy coffee machines and Penhaligon toiletries. Guests will be welcomed by a uniformed doorman, and rooms benefits from twice-daily maid service.
The hotel also features a 40-cover restaurant offering modern British cuisine, as well as the Courtyard for alfresco drinks and dining, a sun deck reserved for residents and members, and the Orangery for breakfast, morning coffee and pre-dinner drinks.
Rates start from £250 on a room only basis, although an opening offer (online code OPENINGOFFER) is bookable until October 23, for stays until January 10, 2023, including 20 per cent off best available room or bed and breakfast rates, and a complimentary cocktail on arrival.
The property is being operated by Bespoke Hotels, whose portfolio of 120 properties includes The Cube Hotel in Birmingham, Hotel Brooklyn in Manchester and The Lugger Hotel in Cornwall’s Portloe.
The One Crown Place development comprises of two new skyscrapers housing 246 residential apartments, as well as a six-floor office block, and the hotel and retail units within the Georgian buildings on Sun Street.
