United Airlines will open a new Club lounge at Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport on September 27.
The 565 sqm lounge will include nearly double the amount of seats as the previous club at the airport, with 122 seats across areas for lounging, dining, relaxing, socialising and working.
The design will feature locally sourced furniture and art, including a hand-painted mural by local artist Blaise Danio which depicts the “rugged nuance of the American desert landscape and colours visible at dusk and dawn”. There will also be two paintings by local artist Carolina Caples on display, which are described as an “autobiographical exploration of self-discovery and growth”.
The lounge will also include a wellness room, featuring a lounge chair, baby changing station and sink, and unisex bathrooms.

Earlier this year the airline opened its largest Club lounge to date at Newark airport.
