The Hoxton is opening its fourth hotel in London this December, located in Shepherd’s Bush.

The 237-room hotel will be situated on the north end of Shepherd’s Bush Green, close to Shepherd’s Bush Market, Bush Hall and music venue Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush will feature a large open lobby with vintage seating, a central wraparound bar and terrace offering cocktails and coffees, a standalone retail shop, and meeting and events space.

Additionally, it will be home to Thai-Americana all-day restaurant Chet’s, which initially had a three-month residency at The Hoxton, Holborn. The restaurant will serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, with a menu featuring “fiery flavours, natural wines and spicy coriander martinis”.

Designed by Ennismore Design Studio, the hotel’s interiors are inspired by the neighbourhood. Public spaces pay homage to retro transport design and some of the symmetry and colour palettes from the TfL archives in the nearby London Transport Museum Depot – train carriage shapes and retro aesthetics, along with decorative glass chandeliers and pendants to glam up the space.

Rooms feature peachy toned walls, dark timbers and copper finishes along with wavy headboards, scallop-edged mirrors, terrazzo tables and geometric flatweave rugs.

Rooms come in five styles, including the new Hideout category which Hoxton describes as “basement crash pads with all The Hoxton touches, perfect for late nights and quick sleepovers”. These smaller rooms do not have windows but include a king-sized bed, modern bathroom and walk-in shower, according to the website.

The brand’s meeting and events concept, The Apartment, will be located on the ground floor, with four rooms centred around a communal Pantry Kitchen.

The Hoxton stated in a press release:

“As a neighbourhood, Shepherd’s Bush is a melting pot of cultures, cuisines and communities, and is steeped in music and entertainment history, famous for producing some of the world’s most famous rock ‘n’ roll bands and home to the BBC’s Television Centre.

“This rich history and thriving scene will heavily influence the hotel’s partnerships and programming, which, like with all Hoxton hotels, are integral to each property’s DNA and local spirit.”

To celebrate the opening, The Hoxton is currently offering pre-opening rates from £150 for bookings made before December 12 (for stays until March 31, 2023), including a £50 restaurant credit.

The Hoxton brand launched in London’s Shoreditch in 2006, and is part of global lifestyle hotel company Ennismore, in which Accor holds a majority stake.

The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush is the group’s 12th property, joining locations across Europe and North America including Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Barcelona, New York, Portland, Chicago, Downtown Los Angeles, and three London hotels in Shoreditch, Holborn and Southwark.
