Abu Dhabi-based hotel management company Rotana has confirmed that it will open two new properties in Qatar ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Bin Al Sheikh Residences by Rotana will open in October 2022, while Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana will welcome its first guests the following month.

With these two new openings, Rotana will add 688 keys to its existing portfolio in Qatar of 1,108 keys.

Located in Doha, Bin Al Sheikh Residences by Rotana is set to open in October 2022 and offers fully-furnished residences. It includes 158 studios, 278 one-bedroom, 62 two-bedroom apartments, and five three-bedroom penthouses.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and a dishwasher in all one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, sports and wellness facilities and a kid’s play area.

Meanwhile, Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana will open its doors in November 2022 and is located on Salwa Road in Doha. The four-star property features 185 rooms and suites, including 129 standard rooms and 56 suites comprising of Junior, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites.

There are multiple dining options at Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana. In addition to the all-day dining outlet, the hotel will offer a cigar lounge, a lobby café, and a specialty restaurant. As for its amenities, the property features a spa, pool and gym. There are also three meeting rooms that can cater to the needs of business travellers.
