The UAE has announced that it would be offering multiple-entry visas for those who posses the Hayya card issued by Qatar for the FIFA World Cup.

The Hayya card is considered an entry visa to Qatar from November 1 until December 23, 2022. That card is mandatory for visitors, citizens and residents of Qatar to enter into any of the stadiums during the World Cup.

The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, said that it would grant a multiple-entry visa to the UAE for a total of up to 90 days from the date of issuance of the visa, according to state news agency WAM.

The visa fees is reduced to Dhs100 and will be paid once for the whole period.

The authority added that holders of Hayya card can enter the UAE using this visa starting November 1, 2022, and it will allow them to re-enter the country several times during the visa’s validity period.

Also, it noted that the visa can be extended for another 90 days “according to the conditions, procedures and the normal fees followed in the current visa system in the UAE.”

Hayya card holders can apply for the Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa through the website (icp.gov.ae), by choosing Smart Channels, selecting Public Services, and then choosing the Hayya Card Holders Visa option.

Citizens of visa-exempt countries are excluded from the above procedures, and their stay in the UAE will not be governed by the above decision.

World Cup: Saudi introduces new multi-entry visa for Hayya card holders

In related development, earlier this month, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs also introduced a new multi-entry visit visa to the kingdom for all those who possess a Hayya card. The Saudi visa will allow for a 60-day stay in the kingdom beginning 10 days before the tournament kicks off.
