Wizz Air is resuming its service from London’s Luton airport to the Greek capital this autumn.

The low-cost carrier will recommence daily flights to Athens on October 30, with one-way fares starting from £79.99.

In a release, the airline stated:

“Athens in one of the oldest cities in the world, bursting with both ancient treasures and modern delights. Whether it is exploring the mazes of little streets, enjoying the traditional Greek delicacies, or simply relaxing on the beach, Athens is the perfect break for passengers looking to explore the heart of Greece.”

Earlier this summer the airline announced plans for nine new routes from Gatwick and Luton airports.
