Four Seasons to expand portfolio in Egypt

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Cairo Capital at Madinaty

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is set to open two new luxury hotels in Egypt, as well as add private residences to its existing property in Sharm El Sheikh.

The new openings will be located in the New Administrative Capital in Cairo, and the city of Luxor in southern Egypt.

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Cairo Capital at Madinaty is expected to open in 2025 within the Madinaty development on 185 hectares of parkland. Designed by Pierre Yves-Rochon, the property will feature 346 rooms and suites, along with 107 villas and 80 residences. The villas will have contemporary design, floor-to-ceiling windows, rooftop gardens limestone finishings and private pools.

Guests and residents will be able to use facilities such as a waterfront restaurant, a standalone spa and fitness centre, and tennis and multi-sport courts. On the corporate side, it will house a ballroom with vaulted ceilings and outdoor event lawn space.

Four Seasons Hotel Luxor

Four Seasons Hotel Luxor is also set to open in 2025, located in southern Egypt. The property will be designed by WATG Architects, with interiors by Wimberly Interiors, and will be located just south of the Luxor Temple which dates back to 1400 BC.

The 200 rooms and suites will all offer views of the Nile River, the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. Facilities will include several restaurant and bar outlets, a spa and fitness facility, multiple pools, retail areas, a kids’ club, and 1,300 sqm of meeting and event spaces.

Finally, the group’s property in Sharm El Sheikh, which opened 20 years ago, will double in size following a multi-million refurbishment. The expansion project will see the addition of 69 private residences to the existing collection of 77, along with new culinary outlets (with 12 in total), recreational facilities and meeting spaces.

The new residential accommodations will include 25 villas and 44 chalets ranging in size from 195 to 240 sqm. These will include two-bedroom ensuite chalets, four-bedroom villas and two custom-designed five-bedroom villas.

The hotel group has partnered with real estate firm Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) to expand its portfolio in the country. The brand already has four hotels in Egypt: Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano and Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh.
