Hilton has opened its first Caribbean property under its growing Tapestry Collection brand.

Rok Hotel Kingston, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is located within the downtown area of Jamaica’s capital.

The 168-room property features contemporary design and overlooks the Kingston Harbour. Facilities include an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, and six fully equipped meeting rooms totalling 298 sqm.

The hotel’s Palate restaurant offers both international and Caribbean-inspired cuisine, sourcing organic food from local growers.

There is a grab-and-go café as well as a pool bar and grill offering light fare, burgers, sandwiches and salads.

Jenna Hackett, global brand head, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, commented:

“As each Tapestry by Hilton is designed to foster a genuine connection to the destination, Rok Hotel Kingston will provide guests with an authentic stay in Downtown Kingston with access to local art, music, dining and rich island culture. Overlooking the Kingston Waterfront and steps from The National Gallery of Jamaica, the property is in a prime location for travelers to immerse themselves and discover all that the area has to offer.”

The hotel is located across the road from the National Gallery of Jamaica, while the Jamaica Conference Center is just two blocks away. The Norman Manley International airport is a 20-minute drive from the property.

Hilton launched the Tapestry Collection brand in 2017, and currently has nearly 90 properties either operating or under development, including the recently added Slate Denver, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Hotel Camille Paris Gare de Lyon.
