Hilton has welcomed its first Curio Collection property in Poland, with the addition of the Hotel Saski Krakow.
The 200-year-old property is situated on Ulica Sławkowska in the city’s old town, and features 117 rooms decorated with portraits of musicians and composers taken by Krakow-born photographer Ryszard Horowitz, including Louis Armstrong, Krzysztof Penderecki, Aretha Franklin and Czeslaw Niemen.
Facilities include an historic ballroom which has previously hosted performances by Francis Liszt, Johannes Brahms and Ignacy Paderewski, sitting alongside modern amenities including a swimming pool, spa and fitness centre.
F&B options include Regale Bar and Restaurant, which offers “local cuisine with a modern touch”, as well as signature cocktails served from a tableside trolley.
Hilton’s Curio brand launched in 2014, and last year passed the milestone of 100 properties worldwide. Recent additions include The Starling Atlanta Midtown, and the Joinery Hotel Pittsburgh.
Hotel Saski Krakow, Curio Collection by Hilton joins five other Hilton properties in Krakow: Doubletree by Hilton Krakow Hotel and Convention Centre, Hampton by Hilton Krakow, Hampton by Hilton Krakow Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Krakow and Hilton Garden Inn Krakow Airport.
Commenting on the news Jenna Hackett, global brand head, Canopy by Hilton and Curio and Tapestry Collections by Hilton, said,
“Marking the debut of Curio Collection by Hilton in Poland, Hotel Saski Krakow is a stunning addition to our portfolio of over 120 unique hotels and resorts around the world, handpicked for its distinct character.
